LPPM UNHAS Successfully Holds Workshop for The 3rd International Conference on Environment and Sustainable Development 2024
Makassar, October 23–24, 2024 – The Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) successfully conducted the Workshop for The 3rd International Conference on Environment and Sustainable Development 2024 at the UNHAS Hotel & Convention. The event adopted the theme “The Green Technology Frameworks On Environmental Science & SDGs Policy” and was attended by various academics, researchers, and practitioners from both national and international backgrounds.
The workshop aimed to strengthen the understanding and collaboration among participants regarding the crucial role of green technology in supporting environmental research and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) policies. The event was officially opened by the Rector of UNHAS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc., and the Head of LPPM, Prof. Dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.MK. In the opening session, the UNHAS Rector highlighted the importance of innovation and sustainable research in tackling global environmental challenges.
Speakers from various scientific disciplines presented their latest research and best practices in the application of green technology. Interactive discussions and panels were also held, allowing participants to share insights and experiences related to the implementation of sustainable technology across different sectors.
LPPM UNHAS hopes that this workshop will establish a strong collaborative network among researchers and practitioners to support the achievement of sustainable development goals in Indonesia and globally.
This event is expected to be a starting point in encouraging more research and innovation in the field of green technology that contributes to environmental sustainability.
