LPPM UNHAS
Center of Excellence for Partnerships in the Development of Science, Technology, Arts, and Human Resources Based on the Culture of the Indonesian Maritime Continent.
Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) is a university that continues to strive to make a significant contribution to research and community service. As one of the largest universities in Indonesia, Hasanuddin University has a responsibility and role in improving the welfare of human civilization on a local, national, and international scale.
The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) is tasked with becoming a forum for increasing the quantity and quality of research within Hasanuddin University, which can then be applied as community service. LPPM will be developed into a means of exploring the potential of the Hasanuddin University academic community in obtaining research ideas tailored to the needs of the industrial world in an effort to help overcome problems in society. This is supported by an increase in the number of Research and Development Centers (Puslitbang), the formation of a Research Ethics Commission, an International Grant Division, and a Research Policy Division.
We would like to express our gratitude to Hasanuddin University for entrusting and directing LPPM UNHAS. We are deeply grateful for this noble task. We hope that through our commitment and sense of responsibility, the “New LPPM” UNHAS will become a “research supermarket” for the UNHAS academic community in the fields of research and community service, thereby creating an exciting research atmosphere. We also hope to contribute to the advancement of brilliant ideas needed in this era to improve the welfare of society and build civilization, nation, and state.
