LPPM UNHAS Holds International Conference on Environment and Sustainable Development (ICSD) 2025: Participants Present Research Results of Thematic Research Group (TRG)
The Hasanuddin University Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM UNHAS) is once again holding *The 4th International Conference on Environment and Sustainable Development (ICSD 2025)* on November 4–5, 2025, at the UNHAS Convention Hotel and LPPM UNHAS Building, Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar.
This international conference, with the theme Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation for Sustainable Development, will bring together researchers, academics, and practitioners from various countries to share the latest research results related to sustainable development. This activity is part of UNHAS’ commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through research and innovation.
One of the key agendas at ICSD 2025 is the presentation of research outcomes from the Thematic Research Group (TRG), a flagship program of LPPM UNHAS. Through this event, researchers from various faculties presented their thematic research outputs in the form of scientific presentations covering various topics such as sustainable agriculture, environmental risk assessment, biodiversity, energy efficiency, public health, digital media and social culture, as well as a poster exhibition (TRG Expo).
The Head of LPPM UNHAS, Prof. Dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.MK(K), said that the involvement of TRG in this international conference was a strategic step to expand the impact of UNHAS research.
“Each TRG group is required to present its research results so that they can be widely recognized by the academic community and the public. We want to show that UNHAS research is relevant and makes a real contribution to sustainable development,” he explained.
With the implementation of ICSD 2025, LPPM UNHAS hopes that this activity can strengthen international research networks and accelerate the transformation of research results into innovations that are beneficial to society and the environment.
