The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) officially signed a cooperation contract with the Jeneponto District Health Office. The signing, which took place in the LPPM Chair’s meeting room, aimed to enhance synergy between the academic world and the health sector in Jeneponto District.

The event was attended by the Director of LPPM UNHAS, Prof. Dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D Sp.MK, along with faculty leaders and a team of researchers from UNHAS. Meanwhile, the Jeneponto Health Office was represented by the Head of the Office and several related officials.

This collaboration covers various fields, including health research, training for health workers, and community service programs aimed at improving the quality of life of the people of Jeneponto. With this collaboration, it is hoped that innovative solutions relevant to the health needs of the local community can be created.

As a follow-up, both parties will immediately develop an action plan and identify priority areas that will be the main focus in the implementation of this collaboration. Through the synergy between UNHAS and the Jeneponto Health Office, it is hoped that improvements in the quality of health and welfare of the community in Jeneponto Regency can be achieved.

The signing of this cooperation agreement is a strategic step in promoting collaboration between educational institutions and local governments, as well as strengthening UNHAS’s role in community service through research and innovation in the field of health.
