LPPM UNHAS Conducts Initial Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of Prototype Research 2025: Boosting Innovation and Downstreaming Leading Research

Makassar, October 28, 2025 — The Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University conducted the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of the 2025 Research Downstreaming Program – Model and Prototype Testing. The event was held at the LPPM meeting room.

This Monev activity is part of LPPM UNHAS’ effort to ensure that the implementation of innovative, downstream-based research proceeds according to target and delivers tangible impacts on the development of science, as well as the needs of industry and society.

The evaluation was carried out directly, involving four research teams from various faculties who are recipients of the 2025 Prototype Research Downstreaming Grant. The designated reviewer team assessed various aspects, ranging from the progress of the research, the suitability of the outputs, the readiness of the prototypes, to the potential implementation of the research results in the real world.

The 2025 Research Downstreaming Program – Model and Prototype Testing is one of the internal grant schemes of Hasanuddin University that focuses on developing research outcomes into ready-to-use innovations. This scheme is a part of LPPM UNHAS’ strategy to accelerate the creation of a research ecosystem that is productive, competitive, and generates high socio-economic impact.

Through this Monev activity, LPPM UNHAS hopes that all research teams can enhance the quality of their achievements, broaden cross-disciplinary collaborations, and reinforce Hasanuddin University’s position as a center of excellence for research and innovation in Eastern Indonesia.
