Wednesday, October 1, 2025, the Hasanuddin University Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM UNHAS) officially signed a work contract under the Partnership for Australia–Indonesia Research (PAIR) Program for the 2025 fiscal year. This activity marks the continuation of UNHAS’ commitment to strengthening research collaboration between Indonesia and Australia, particularly in supporting science-based development in Eastern Indonesia.
The contract signing was held in the LPPM UNHAS meeting room and was attended by the Head of LPPM UNHAS, Prof. Dr. Muh. In his speech, Prof. Nasrum said that this collaboration is a manifestation of UNHAS’ active role as a research-based university that supports sustainable development in Eastern Indonesia.
“The PAIR program has opened up opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration between academics, government, and the community. This is not just about research, but also has a real impact on development in South Sulawesi and its surrounding areas,” he said.
The signing of this contract also strengthens UNHAS’ position as an institution committed to international collaboration and contribution to research-based regional development.
