External Audit of ISO 9001:2015 LPPM UNHAS
The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University conducted an ISO 9001:2015 External Audit as part of its commitment to improving service quality and organizational governance. The audit was conducted by an independent assessor, Muh. Zainal Abidin, on Thursday (17/7) in the LPPM UNHAS Meeting Room, Tamalanrea Campus.
This external audit aimed to assess the compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS) implementation at LPPM UNHAS with the ISO 9001:2015 international standard. All stages of the audit included document review, work process observation, and interviews with management and implementing staff.
The Secretary of LPPM UNHAS, Prof. Ir. Suharman Hamzah, Ph.D (Eng) HSE, said that this external audit is part of a routine evaluation to ensure that all processes run in accordance with established quality standards.
Muh. Zainal Abidin, as the auditor, expressed his appreciation for LPPM UNHAS’ commitment to maintaining consistency in the implementation of the quality system, as well as encouraging strengthening in the aspects of performance evaluation and risk management. “The implementation of ISO 9001:2015 at LPPM UNHAS has shown a positive direction. Quality culture has begun to be internalized in the institution’s activities; it now needs to be further encouraged in terms of documentation and follow-up evaluation,” he explained.
This external audit is part of the ISO certification and recertification cycle, which is conducted periodically to ensure that the institution continues to meet quality requirements objectively and professionally.
With the completion of this audit, LPPM UNHAS hopes to continue improving the quality of its research and community service in an integrated and sustainable manner to support Hasanuddin University’s vision as a world-class research university.
