Unhas LPPM Holds Technical Guidance on Preparing Proposals for BPJS Kesehatan Open Research 2025
The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held a Technical Guidance (Bimtek) on the Preparation of BPJS Kesehatan Open Research Proposals for 2025. This event took place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Lppm Unhas Meeting Room, Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar.
This technical guidance was attended by lecturers interested in participating in the Open Research program organized by BPJS Kesehatan. The purpose of this activity was to provide technical and substantial understanding in preparing research proposals in accordance with the guidelines and research focus of BPJS Kesehatan for 2025.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.Mk, as the Head of LPPM, conveyed the importance of collaboration between academics and government agencies in improving the quality of public policy in the health sector. “BPJS Kesehatan’s Open Research is an opportunity for Unhas researchers to contribute directly to the development of the national health insurance system through research based on data and real needs in the field,” said Prof. Nasrum.
This activity aimed to explain in detail the proposal format, priority research themes for 2025, and strategies for increasing funding opportunities. Some of this year’s featured topics included the effectiveness of digital-based health services, strengthening promotive and preventive measures in the National Health Insurance (JKN), and cost-benefit analysis of health services. The event also featured a question-and-answer session and group discussions, where participants could consult their research ideas directly with experts.
With the implementation of this technical training, LPPM Unhas hopes that more high-quality proposals will emerge from the Unhas academic community and successfully obtain funding from BPJS Kesehatan, thereby making a real impact on the national healthcare system.
