Unhas LPPM Undergoes ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit

The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University underwent an internal ISO 9001:2015 audit conducted by the Unhas ISO Secretariat on Monday, June 16, 2025. This activity is part of ongoing efforts to ensure that the quality management system in the LPPM Unhas work environment is implemented in accordance with international standards.
This internal audit aimed to evaluate the suitability, effectiveness, and efficiency of the implementation of the ISO Quality Management System (QMS) at LPPM. The audit was conducted by Dr. Arsyad Genda, M.Si and Dr. Safriadi, SIP, M.Si, a team of certified internal auditors appointed directly by the Unhas ISO Secretariat.
The Head of LPPM Unhas, Prof. Dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.Mk(K)., in his speech expressed his appreciation for the good cooperation with the Unhas ISO Secretariat. “This audit is an important moment to continue to improve and refine our organizational governance. The audit results will be the basis for us to improve the quality of research and community service,” he said.
The audit covered several aspects, such as the planning and implementation of research and community service programs, reporting, evaluation, and follow-up. The audit team also verified supporting documents and conducted interviews with several staff members and unit leaders.
Dr. Arsyad Genda, a member of the Unhas ISO Audit Team, explained that internal audits are an important part of the ISO 9001:2015 implementation cycle. “This audit is a means for work units to determine the extent to which the quality management system is functioning properly, as well as preparation before facing an external audit from a certification agency,” he said.
The audit results revealed several areas that have met the standards optimally. Through this internal audit, LPPM Unhas reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining service quality and fostering a culture of sustainable quality within the University of Hasanuddin.
