Unhas LPPM Signs RKI–PMKI 2025 Contract, Strengthens Research and Community Service Synergy
Makassar, April 21, 2025 – The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University once again held a contract signing ceremony for the Indonesian Collaborative Research (RKI) and Indonesian Collaborative Community Service (PMKI) schemes, which took place in the LPPM Unhas Hall. This activity was coupled with the dissemination of funding information and technical explanations on the implementation of research and community service, including an explanation of important articles in the cooperation contract.
The event was attended by the heads of research and community service teams from various faculties within Unhas who are recipients of the 2025 program funding.
The head of LPPM Unhas, Prof. Dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.MK, emphasized in his speech the importance of building communication and understanding between partners and host institutions. “For those of you who are not yet familiar with your collaboration partners, this momentum is a good start to build synergy and mutual understanding,” he said.
Meanwhile, Secretary of LPPM Unhas, Prof. Dr. Suharman Hamzah, highlighted the importance of optimization and transparency in the use of research and community service funds. “Because this funding comes from state funds, we strongly expect that it be used optimally and responsibly,” he said.
Furthermore, Prof. Suharman urged researchers to fully understand the obligations and rights of each party, both from the partner and host sides. He also emphasized the importance of professional financial management by each institution, in accordance with their responsibilities. The hope is that the collaboration will run smoothly and not cause misunderstandings in its implementation.
This activity is part of LPPM Unhas’ efforts to strengthen a collaborative and accountable research and community service ecosystem, as well as to build cross-institutional networks that have a real impact on society and sustainable development.
