LPPM UNHAS Holds Discussion on Research Proposal for Early Career Faculty Members at Hasanuddin University (PDPU)

Saturday, March 22, 2025 – The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) held a discussion on the Hasanuddin University Early Career Faculty Research Scheme (PDPU) proposal. This event aimed to support young UNHAS lecturers in developing high-quality research.
The proposal discussion was attended by a number of early career lecturers from various faculties at UNHAS. This activity served as an important means of introducing them to various aspects of research that could enhance their academic capacity. It also served as a forum for lecturers to obtain input and guidance from experts, as well as to ensure that the proposals submitted had the potential to be accepted for larger research funding.
In his speech, the Head of LPPM UNHAS, Prof. Dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D Sp.Mk(K), said that this activity was part of LPPM UNHAS’ commitment to facilitate research development among young lecturers. “Through this PDPU, we want to provide opportunities for novice lecturers to contribute to the world of research. We hope that with this discussion, the proposals that are prepared will be more mature and have a significant impact on the development of science,” he said.
In addition, participants were also given the opportunity to discuss directly with experienced mentors and examiners, so that they could obtain constructive input in perfecting their research proposals. This discussion is expected to improve the quality of research conducted by novice lecturers, while also supporting the achievement of UNHAS’ vision and mission as a leading university in the field of research.
Participants are expected to take advantage of this opportunity to deepen their knowledge and improve their ability to manage and carry out research in the future. This activity can also inspire other young lecturers to be more active in submitting research proposals and participating in various research programs at UNHAS.
