Officially Signing the Contract, Batch 2 of the Unhas Thematic Research Group is Ready to Drive Research Innovation

Friday, March 7, 2025 – In an effort to strengthen the collaborative research ecosystem and encourage solution-based research, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University signed a contract for Thematic Research Group (TRG) Batch 2. The event, held at the LPPM Unhas Hall, was attended by TRG chairs from various faculties and research centers, including the Faculty of Economics and Business, Pharmacy, Law, Cultural Sciences, Marine Sciences and Fisheries, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Agriculture, Engineering, Postgraduate Studies, Natural Resources Research and Development Center, and the South Pacific Study Center.
In his speech, the Head of LPPM Unhas emphasized that TRG Batch 2 is a strategic step in strengthening multidisciplinary and collaborative research in the academic environment. “This program is designed to encourage research that is not only academic in nature, but also has a real impact on society and industry. With a cross-disciplinary collaboration-based scheme, it is hoped that solution-oriented and sustainable innovations will emerge,” he said.
The signing of this contract symbolizes the commitment of academics to conducting more focused, high-quality, and competitive research. Through TRG Batch 2, Unhas aims to improve the quality of research that is not only relevant to academic needs but also capable of addressing global challenges in various sectors.
