LPPM UNHAS Holds Fifth Meeting for the Preparation of the 2025-2029 Strategic Plan, Focusing on the Integration of Research Topics

Tuesday, January 14, 2025 The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) held its fifth meeting with researchers at UNHAS. This meeting aimed to continue the process of drafting the UNHAS Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) for 2025-2029, with the main agenda being the integration of research topics that will be the focus of LPPM over the next five years.
The meeting, held in the LPPM UNHAS meeting room, invited researchers from various disciplines to discuss and provide input on the research priorities that need to be raised in the upcoming RENSTRA. Previously, LPPM UNHAS had held several meetings that also discussed the same issue, but at this fifth meeting, emphasis was placed on efforts to consolidate and integrate various research topics in order to have a maximum impact on the development of science and the needs of society.
One of the main focuses of this fifth meeting was to formulate research topics that could be integrated with national development priorities and support the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs). Researchers were expected to explore the potential of interdisciplinary research that could make a greater contribution to society and the industrial world.
This meeting is part of a broader series of activities to ensure that the research topics raised are not only based on the internal strengths of UNHAS, but also relevant to evolving social and economic needs. With this step, LPPM UNHAS hopes to make a significant contribution to advancing research and community service at the national and global levels.
