Tuesday, December 17, 2024 – The Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) held a meeting to formulate scientific cluster topics as part of the preparation of the UNHAS Strategic Plan (Renstra) for the 2025–2029 period. The meeting was conducted in the LPPM UNHAS Meeting Room and was attended by researchers from various faculties and study programs within the UNHAS campus environment.

During the meeting, participants discussed various important aspects of research and community service development that will be the main focus of the new UNHAS Renstra.

The meeting aimed to formulate the direction and priorities of research and the development of scientific clusters that can strengthen UNHAS’s role in producing high-quality research that benefits the community, the education sector, and national development.

This meeting represents the initial step in formulating research topics based on scientific clusters that will be prioritized over the next five years.

We hope that through this Renstra, UNHAS can enhance the quality of its research, strengthen collaboration with various stakeholders, and broaden the positive impact of the research produced.

This topic formulation meeting is part of a series of processes that must be completed before the UNHAS Renstra 2025–2029 is officially ratified. LPPM UNHAS hopes to produce a strategic plan that is more focused, sustainable, and can enhance UNHAS’s reputation on both the national and international stage.
