UNHAS LPPM Halal Inspection Center Receives Visit from Business Partners Related to Halal Certification
The Halal Inspection Center of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) at Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) recently received a visit from several business partners. The purpose of this visit was to deepen understanding of the importance of halal certification in the business world and the procedures and requirements necessary to obtain such certification.
The event, which took place on November 11 in the Halal Inspection Center room on the 3rd floor of the LPPM UNHAS building, was attended by a number of entrepreneurs from various industrial sectors, including the food and beverage industry and other products that require halal certification. These business partners showed great interest in the systems and procedures applied in the halal certification process carried out by LPPM UNHAS.
This visit also provided an opportunity for business actors to discuss directly with experts in the field of halal certification and obtain information related to the latest regulatory developments in halal certification in Indonesia. In addition, the LPPM UNHAS Halal Inspection Center also provided education on the importance of paying attention to halal aspects in every production process, from raw materials to the distribution process.
