The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) has taken a significant step in deepening cooperation between universities by conducting a series of important activities with the LPPM of Nusa Cendana University (UNDANA), including exploration, drafting, and signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS).
The activities began with an exploratory phase, during which a delegation from LPPM UNHAS held initial meetings with representatives from LPPM UNDANA. The purpose of these meetings was to explore potential areas of cooperation between the two institutions in various fields, including research, community service, and academic capacity building.
After the exploration, it was followed by the drafting stage, where both parties held in-depth discussions to formulate a concrete and sustainable cooperation plan. Various aspects such as the objectives of the cooperation, the scope of activities, and the implementation and evaluation mechanisms were discussed comprehensively in order to create a solid and mutually beneficial cooperation framework.
The culmination of this series of activities was the signing of a cooperation agreement between LPPM UNHAS and LPPM UNDANA. The cooperation agreement serves as a legal basis that binds the two institutions to collaborate in various research and community service activities. The signing was carried out by the heads of the R&D centers of each university, which affirmed the strong commitment of both parties to establish sustainable and beneficial cooperation for both institutions and the wider community.
Prof. dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.MK (K), Chair of LPPM UNHAS, expressed his pride in this cooperation and his belief that inter-university collaboration will strengthen research and community service capacities in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Dr. Ir. Damianus Adar, M.Ec, Chair of UNDANA’s LPPM, expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration and his hope that the two institutions will work together to create a significant impact on the development of science and community welfare.
With the signing of this cooperation agreement, LPPM UNHAS and LPPM UNDANA reaffirmed their commitment to work together in enhancing the contribution of higher education institutions to national development, as well as demonstrating the spirit of cross-institutional collaboration in addressing global challenges.
