The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University hosted a workshop for the Forum of LPPMs of State Universities (PTN) in Eastern Indonesia and the signing of a Joint Declaration to form a University Consortium.

The preparatory meeting for the Workshop Forum of LPPM PTN in Eastern Indonesia was attended by the Head of KPTN KTI Unhas, Mr. A. Ilham Makhmud, Secretary of LPPM Prof. Suharman Hamzah, S.T., M.T, Ph.D. HSE, Head of Research and Development, and LPPM staff. During the meeting, they actively discussed the workshop agenda, speaker selection, and various other technical preparations. The workshop is planned to be held in March 2024 and will serve as an important forum for LPPM PTN in Eastern Indonesia to exchange experiences and design strategic steps in research development and community service.

Hasanuddin University, together with LPPM and KPTN KTI Unhas, is committed to making the University Forum and Consortium Workshop a vehicle for supporting the development of science and community empowerment in Eastern Indonesia, creating sustainable synergy among state universities, and increasing the positive contribution of higher education institutions to regional development.
