LPPM Unhas Conducts Initial Progress Monitoring and Evaluation of the 2026 I-CORE Program to Assess International Collaborative Research Progress

Universitas Hasanuddin, through its Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), organized the Initial Progress Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of the International Collaboration Research (I-CORE) Program for 2026. The activity was held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the LPPM Unhas Building.

This initial monitoring and evaluation was conducted as part of efforts to strengthen research governance and to ensure that all I-CORE programs are implemented in accordance with the established plans, target achievements, and quality standards. The activity was attended by principal investigators and research teams from various faculties within Universitas Hasanuddin who received I-CORE funding in 2026.

During the activity, each research team presented the progress of their research at the initial stage, including preliminary outputs, challenges encountered, and strategies implemented to optimize international collaborative research. In addition, reviewers provided constructive feedback to enhance research quality and ensure alignment with the research roadmap and expected outputs.

LPPM Unhas stated that this monitoring and evaluation activity plays an important role in maintaining accountability and the quality of research implementation, particularly within international collaboration schemes such as I-CORE. Through this early evaluation, it is expected that each team can make improvements and strategic adjustments to achieve optimal research outcomes.

The activity was conducted smoothly and interactively, marked by active discussions between researchers and reviewers. Through this Initial Progress Monitoring and Evaluation, the I-CORE Program at Universitas Hasanuddin in 2026 is expected to make a significant contribution to strengthening international networks and increasing reputable scientific publications.
