Promoting Leading Thematic Research, LPPM Unhas Holds Socialization of TRG 2025 Batch 4 Grants

Makassar, May 5, 2025 — The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University held a socialization event for the 2025 Fiscal Year Batch 4 Thematic Research Group (TRG) Grant on Monday, May 5, 2025. The event took place in Meeting Room A of the LPPM Unhas and was attended by faculty members and researchers from various faculties within the Unhas community.
The event aimed to provide researchers with a more comprehensive understanding of the TRG Batch 4 grant proposal mechanism, including requirements, selection stages, priority thematic research focuses, and procedures for reporting and accountability for research activities. The socialization also served as a forum for direct discussion between grant program managers and prospective applicants.
In his speech, the Head of LPPM Unhas emphasized the importance of cross-disciplinary collaboration and synergy in thematic research groups as an effort to encourage excellent research that has an impact on solving strategic issues at the local and national levels. “Through this TRG program, we hope to create a more solid, theme-based research ecosystem that is capable of producing relevant and applicable outputs,” he said.
The socialization session continued with a technical presentation of the grant guidelines by the LPPM team, which discussed the details of the proposal requirements, proposal format, and assessment criteria. The participants also actively asked questions about the technical implementation, collaboration opportunities, and strategies for preparing competitive proposals.
This activity is part of LPPM Unhas’ commitment to supporting the enhancement of faculty research capacity and strengthening the culture of thematic group-based research within the University of Hasanuddin.
