Evaluation and Consolidation of Research and Innovation Funding Programs at Hasanuddin University

In a move to reinforce the effectiveness of national research funding, the Directorate of Research and Innovation Funding will conduct an evaluation of BRIN-funded projects implemented through the Indonesia Advanced Research and Innovation Scheme (RIIM) Competition and the Research Collaboration Center (PKR).

The initiative, led by the Directorate of Research and Innovation Funding under the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the effectiveness and impact of nationally funded research programs.

Scheduled for April 23–24, 2026, the evaluation will bring together principal investigators who are recipients of BRIN’s research and innovation (risnov) funding within Hasanuddin University. The sessions are expected to serve as a platform for assessing program outcomes, identifying challenges, and formulating strategies to further strengthen research performance and collaboration.

The Directorate emphasized that the activity is not only evaluative in nature but also serves as a consolidation forum to align perspectives between policymakers and researchers. Insights gathered during the sessions will contribute to improving the design and implementation of future funding schemes.

To support the event, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University has been requested to facilitate coordination and engagement with participating research teams.

This initiative underscores BRIN’s commitment to fostering stronger collaboration with higher education institutions and ensuring that research and innovation initiatives deliver meaningful contributions to national development.
