The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) aimed at developing an innovative and progressive Policy Brief. The event was attended by experts, practitioners, and relevant stakeholders from various academic and professional backgrounds from various faculties at Hasanuddin University.
The discussion examined various aspects, ranging from climate change and food security to digital transformation. FGD participants actively contributed to analyzing the root causes of these challenges and formulating strategic measures to be taken in the form of 13 policy brief drafts. However, the writing style needs to be standardized and the design to be used in these policy briefs needs to be finalized.
The results of this FGD will be the first step in the preparation of policy briefs to be compiled by LPPM Unhas and other contributing members, which will be submitted to various relevant agencies. The main objective is to make a real contribution to overcoming the future challenges identified in the discussion.
LPPM Unhas believes that cross-sector collaboration and innovative thinking will be key to creating positive change for society and the environment in the future. By involving various stakeholders and adopting a progressive approach, LPPM is optimistic that the solutions produced will have a significant impact in facing future challenges.
