LPPM UNHAS Successfully Concludes Final Monitoring and Evaluation (MONEV) for Indonesia Collaboration Research (ICR) and Eastern Indonesia Regional Collaboration Research (RK-KTI) Schemes
The Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) recently held the Final Monitoring and Evaluation (MONEV) for two ongoing research schemes: the Indonesia Collaboration Research (ICR) and the Eastern Indonesia Regional Collaboration Research (RK-KTI). The event was conducted in the LPPM UNHAS Meeting Room and was attended by various parties, including researchers, the Reviewer team, and the management team involved in the activities.
The event, held on December 27, 2024, aimed to evaluate the extent of research achievements by the participating researchers within the framework of both schemes, as well as to provide constructive input and recommendations for enhancing the quality of future research.
In his address, the Secretary of LPPM UNHAS, Prof. Ir. Suharman Hamzah, Ph.D., Eng, conveyed that this MONEV activity is part of UNHAS’s effort to ensure that the research programs conducted can provide tangible contributions to the development of science and technology, particularly in the Eastern Indonesia region.
Professor Suhe asserted that collaboration between researchers in Indonesia and abroad is crucial for strengthening the global competitiveness of Indonesian research, as well as supporting the development of the Eastern Indonesia region, which still faces many challenges.
“This activity also serves as proof of UNHAS’s commitment to encouraging research collaboration that can provide direct benefits to the community, particularly in the Eastern Indonesia region. We hope that the research results obtained from both schemes can be applied immediately to offer practical solutions for the problems facing this region,” he concluded.
The ICR and RK-KTI schemes provide a platform for collaboration among universities, government, and the industrial sector to address the existing challenges in Eastern Indonesia. Through this MONEV, we can evaluate the impact of the research on regional development and provide recommendations for a more optimal research implementation.
The ICR scheme, which is the result of collaboration between Indonesian universities and international partners, focuses on research aimed at improving the quality of life of the community through innovation and technology application.
Meanwhile, RK-KTI places greater emphasis on research relevant to the needs of the Eastern Indonesia region, with the hope of providing solutions for local issues such as food security, natural resource management, and health.
In conclusion, LPPM UNHAS hopes that all research outcomes driven by the ICR and RK-KTI schemes do not merely remain on a theoretical level, but can be implemented immediately in the form of policies or products whose benefits can be directly felt by the wider community.
