Tuesday, March 11, 2025 – In order to strengthen academic capacity and improve the quality of research proposals, the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University and the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Duta Bangsa University Surakarta signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) related to Proposal Writing Assistance. This collaboration aims to provide structured academic assistance to encourage improvements in the quality and competitiveness of research proposals.
This event was attended by the Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni of Duta Bangsa University Surakarta and staff from the LPPM of Duta Bangsa University. The Vice Rector III emphasized that this collaboration aims to expand academic networks while encouraging improvements in research quality, especially in the preparation of more competitive and high-quality proposals.
The Secretary of LPPM Unhas, Prof. Suhe, explained that the main approach in this assistance is the clustering of lecturers based on their interests and expertise in research. “Lecturers who have a passion for academic writing will be assisted structurally to be more optimal in producing quality proposals,” he said.
The Head of LPPM Unhas, Dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, added that in addition to technical assistance, the aspects of matching ideas and matching funding are important factors in increasing the competitiveness of proposals so that they are in line with the available funding schemes. “This approach will help ensure that the proposed research not only has strong ideas, but also has a great chance of obtaining funding support,” he explained.
The signing of this MoU reaffirms LPPM Unhas’ commitment to supporting the improvement of research quality in various academic institutions and opening up broader opportunities for collaboration for the advancement of science and innovation.
