The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held an outreach event aimed at educating students and lecturers about funding opportunities through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s BIMA program in 2024 to support research and community service activities.
The event was attended by hundreds of students and lecturers from various study programs and faculties at Unhas online. The socialization material was delivered through interactive presentations, covering practical steps in preparing proposals, with an emphasis on important aspects that need to be considered. Participants were also given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss various aspects related to BIMA funding.
It is hoped that through this socialization, more Unhas students and lecturers will be motivated to submit research and community service proposals through the BIMA program. As a result, it is expected that there will be a significant increase in the number and quality of research as well as tangible contributions to community development.
