The Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) has conducted the Internal Monitoring and Evaluation (MONEV) of the BIMA Research Progress Reports funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) Grant for the 2024 Fiscal Year. This activity aimed to assess the progress and achievements of the research projects funded by the grant, as well as to provide feedback for improvement and enhancement of the quality of the ongoing research.

During the presentation session, the researchers presented the interim results of their studies, the challenges encountered, and the planned follow-up actions. The reviewer team provided assessments and recommendations for improvement to ensure that the research targets and outputs are achieved in accordance with the established timeline and objectives.

Furthermore, the reviewers also emphasized the importance of transparent and accountable reporting of research results. They highlighted several aspects that need attention from the researchers, such as the research methodology, the relevance of the data obtained, and strategies for managing the grant funds more efficiently.

This Internal MONEV activity is part of LPPM Unhas’s commitment to ensure that all research activities funded by the grants from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) proceed effectively and yield outputs consistent with the research objectives. The results of this MONEV will serve as a reference for the preparation of final reports and the submission of research proposals in the upcoming period.

With this evaluation, it is hoped that the research projects funded by the BIMA grant will not only be beneficial for the advancement of science but also have a tangible impact on society, aligning with Hasanuddin University’s vision and mission of producing innovative and applicable research.
