Tuesday, February 11, 2025 – The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University once again held a Final Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) for the second year of funding for the Advanced Indonesian Innovation Research (RIIM) research scheme. This activity is a crucial stage in determining whether the ongoing research is eligible for third-year funding or not, based on the reviewers’ assessment results.
The Monev process was conducted in a hybrid manner, where researchers attended in person, while the reviewer team participated in the activity via the Zoom platform. Each researcher presented a report on the progress of their research, covering target achievements, obstacles encountered, strategic steps for the future, and a detailed report on budget utilization.
This Monev was attended by three research teams from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry. The evaluation process involved two substantive reviewers and two financial reviewers, who were tasked with assessing the substance and feasibility of the financial accountability of each output and outcome proposed in the research. The main agenda in this evaluation was to ensure the realization of commitments in the form of achieving all outputs and outcomes that had been stated in the research proposal, so that each research conducted could make a significant contribution to the development of science and its implementation in society.
LPPM Unhas hopes that through this Monev, the quality and quantity of research and community service within the university can be further improved. This rigorous evaluation serves as a benchmark for the effectiveness of funding and the sustainability of research, in line with Unhas’ vision of promoting research-based innovation with broad impact.
