Monday, June 2, 2025 — In order to strengthen the thematic research ecosystem, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University held a Socialization and Contract Signing event for the Thematic Research Group (TRG) Batch 4 Program, which took place in Meeting Room A of LPPM.
In his opening remarks, the Head of LPPM Unhas expressed appreciation to the selected researchers, while emphasizing the importance of optimizing the two-year research period to produce impactful and sustainable outcomes. We, as LPPM administrators, have high hopes for the researchers’ achievements, given the long research period and the research funding disbursement system, which is provided in one stage (100%),” he said.
The signing of this contract symbolizes the commitment of academics to conducting more focused, high-quality, and competitive research. Through TRG Batch 4, Unhas aims to improve the quality of research that is not only relevant to academic needs but also capable of addressing global challenges in various sectors.
With this program, LPPM Unhas reaffirms its role in supporting leading research that contributes to the development of science, technology, and research-based policies to achieve sustainable development. The event also featured technical sessions on grant administration management, disbursement systems, and monitoring and evaluation reporting mechanisms. This forum served not only as a venue for contract signing but also as a space for strengthening understanding and coordination among research teams.
