LPPM Unhas Conducts External Surveillance Audit of ISO 9001:2015 in 2024: Ensuring Quality Standards are Maintained

The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) successfully conducted an External Surveillance Audit for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. This audit is part of Unhas’ commitment to maintaining and improving the quality management standards that have been implemented since obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification.
This external audit was conducted by a competent and independent international certification body. Its purpose was to ensure that LPPM Unhas continues to comply with the established quality standards and to make continuous improvements in all aspects of operations and management.
The Head of LPPM Unhas, Prof. dr. Muh Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.MK (K), also stated that this audit is not merely a formality, but a valuable opportunity to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the existing system. “We welcome this external audit as part of our efforts to continuously improve the quality of services and operations at LPPM. Input from external auditors is very important for us to make continuous improvements and innovations,”
During the audit process, the audit team examined documents, conducted direct observations, and interviewed various related parties at LPPM Unhas. The results of this audit will form the basis for LPPM to develop corrective and preventive action plans to improve performance and management quality.
This External Surveillance Audit is expected to strengthen the implementation of the quality management system at LPPM Unhas and ensure that all processes and services provided always meet the international standards of ISO 9001:2015. This is also in line with the vision of Hasanuddin University to become a leading and globally competitive educational institution.
