LPPM UNHAS Conducts Monitoring and Evaluation of the Progress of Thematic Research Group Batch 3
Thursday, September 25, 2025, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) conducted a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activity on the progress of research for recipients of the Thematic Research Group (TRG) Batch 3 program. This activity was conducted as a form of periodic evaluation of the progress of funded research, as well as to ensure that the implementation of the research aligns with the planned outcomes.
Held in the LPPM UNHAS Meeting Room, Tamalanrea Campus, this activity was attended by research team leaders from various faculties at UNHAS, as well as the LPPM internal evaluation team consisting of experts from various fields of science.
The Head of LPPM UNHAS, Prof. Dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.MK, in his speech emphasized the importance of monitoring and evaluation as an instrument of quality control and accountability in research implementation. Researchers were asked to present their research achievements, including preliminary outputs, obstacles encountered, and follow-up plans until the end of the funding period. The evaluators then provided input, clarification, and recommendations for improvement.
The Thematic Research Group program itself is a flagship program of LPPM UNHAS that aims to encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration in addressing strategic issues based on local wisdom, national policies, and community needs.
It is hoped that through this Monev activity, all TRG Batch 3 teams can strengthen their research focus and produce significant outputs, whether in the form of publications, patents, policies, or real-world implementation in the community.
