The Hasanuddin University Research and Community Service Institute held a socialization event related to the Research and Community Service (PPM) Guidelines for Unhas Grants in 2024 in each faculty. This activity began on November 6, 2023 – November 15, 2023.

During this outreach activity, LPPM Unhas provided an overview of changes to research and community service schemes, general provisions, expected outcomes, and funding amounts. In 2024, LPPM Unhas implemented four main schemes, namely UNHAS Early Career Faculty Research (PDPU), Collaborative Fundamental Research (PFK), Unhas Community Service-Partnership Program (PPMU-PK), and Unhas Community Service-Campus Intellectual Property Business Development Program (PPMU-PPUPIK).

Prof. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.MK, as the Head of LPPM Unhas, hopes that this funding will stimulate collaboration among researchers, both within Unhas and outside Unhas, and provide opportunities for early-career lecturers to conduct research that will support research and innovation in the academic community. Additionally, the Secretary of LPPM, Ir. Suharman Hamzah, ST., MT., Ph.D (Eng), HSE, also expressed LPPM Unhas’ commitment to continue supporting researchers in conducting research and community service, as well as maintaining transparency in the implementation of the Unhas Grant.

The socialization was presented by speakers and accompanied by the Chair and Secretary of LPPM Unhas, as well as faculty leaders. The speakers for the 2024 Unhas PPM Guidelines were:
