The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) successfully held a Join Declaration event between the Consortium of State Universities in Eastern Indonesia (KPTN-KTI) and the Borneo University Consortium (KUUB) on March 2-3, 2024.
The event, held at the Unhas Hotel, was attended by rectors, heads of LPPM, and practitioners from various fields of science to discuss collaborative efforts in advancing research and community service for the eastern region.
This Joint Declaration aims to strengthen the synergy between KPTN-KTI and KUUB in developing research and technology in Indonesia. By combining the strengths of these three consortiums, it is hoped that a more productive and sustainable innovation ecosystem can be created, as well as encouraging an increase in the nation’s competitiveness in the fields of information technology and industry.
The event also included the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the three consortiums, which affirmed their commitment to work together in supporting research and innovation development in various sectors. In addition, an open discussion was held to formulate concrete cooperation plans to be carried out in the future.
With the success of this Join Declaration event, it is hoped that it will pave the way for closer cooperation between research and development institutions in Indonesia, as well as make a significant contribution to promoting technological advancement and innovation at the national level.
