The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) has established a strategic partnership with the North Luwu Regional Government through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday, July 9, 2025, in the LPPM Unhas Meeting Room, Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar.
The MoU was signed by the Head of LPPM Unhas, Prof. Dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.Mk(K), and the North Luwu Regional Government Team. This agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in the fields of research, community service, and human resource development in the North Luwu Regency.
In his speech, Prof. Nasrum emphasized that this cooperation is a form of Unhas’ commitment as a research-based university to continue to be present and contribute to regional development. “We are ready to support the North Luwu Regional Government in making data-based and research-based policies, as well as encouraging the utilization of local potential through integrated community service programs,” he said.
With this partnership, LPPM Unhas and the North Luwu Regency Government hope to create a tangible positive impact on the community through the synergy of science and sustainable public policy.
