Unhas LPPM Promotes Collaborative Research through RKI & PMKI 2025 Socialization
Monday, February 17, 2025 – The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University held an online socialization event for the 2025 Indonesian Collaborative Research (RKI) and Indonesian Collaborative Community Service (PMKI) programs via the Zoom platform. This event aimed to provide researchers with a comprehensive understanding of proposal submission guidelines, application mechanisms, strategic program directions, and available funding schemes.
The socialization was attended by Unhas research lecturers from various disciplines, including social sciences, law, economics, health, engineering, and mathematics and natural sciences. This cross-disciplinary attendance reflects the spirit of collaboration in research and community service, which is increasingly strengthened through the RKI and PMKI programs.
The Head of LPPM Unhas, Prof. Nasrum, opened the event by emphasizing the importance of continuing research despite funding challenges. He said that research lecturers are expected to maintain their enthusiasm for conducting research and actively seek funding sources so that research and community service activities can continue to run optimally.
The event then continued with a presentation by Prof. Suharman, Secretary of LPPM Unhas. During the session, he explained in detail various technical aspects, ranging from the proposal submission mechanism and administrative requirements to effective strategies for developing research and community service with a broad impact.
“The RKI and PMKI programs provide great opportunities for academics to engage in collaborative research that can produce real solutions to community problems. We hope that Unhas researchers can make the most of this scheme,” said Prof. Suharman.
With the implementation of this socialization, it is hoped that Unhas research lecturers will be better prepared in developing and submitting quality proposals, strengthening academic networks, and enhancing the role of higher education institutions in producing innovative research and community service that has a real impact on society.
