Following LPPM's visit to Parepare, LPPM UNHAS now receives a visit from the Parepare City Government regarding community service.

The Hasanuddin University Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM UNHAS) received a visit from the Parepare City Government on Tuesday (3/6), at the LPPM UNHAS Building, Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar.
This visit is part of the Parepare City Government’s efforts to establish strategic cooperation with universities, particularly in the fields of research and community service that have a direct impact on regional development.
The delegation from the Parepare City Government was led by the Mayor of Parepare, H. Tasming Hamid, S.E., M.H., and was officially welcomed by the Head of LPPM UNHAS, Prof. Dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D, Sp.Mk(K), along with the LPPM leadership.
In his speech, Prof. Nasrum expressed his appreciation for this visit and opened up opportunities for broader cooperation between LPPM UNHAS and the Parepare City Government.
“We welcome the initiative from the Parepare City Government. UNHAS has strong research and community service potential, and we are ready to support regional development programs through research-based collaboration,” he said.
The meeting discussed various potential collaborations, ranging from strengthening human resource capacity, public policy research, to assisting community empowerment programs in the City of Parepare. The visit concluded with a discussion session and a group photo.
With this meeting, it is hoped that a stronger synergy will be established between higher education institutions and local governments in supporting sustainable and science-based development.
