SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF MONEV FOR THE PROGRESS OF BIMA RESEARCH BY THE MINISTRY OF RESEARCH, TECHNOLOGY AND HIGHER EDUCATION 2025

Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) held a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activity on Research Progress for grant schemes funded by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristek Dikti) for the 2025 Fiscal Year.
This activity took place at the LPPM UNHAS Building, Tamalanrea Campus. The Monev aimed to assess the progress of research conducted by UNHAS research lecturers and to ensure that research activities were carried out in accordance with the predetermined output targets and work plans.
The Head of LPPM UNHAS, in his speech, conveyed the importance of monitoring and evaluation as a form of accountability and performance evaluation of researchers in managing research grant funds. He emphasized that LPPM UNHAS continues to encourage the improvement of research quality that has an impact on the development of science and solutions to national and regional problems. “We hope that through this monitoring and evaluation, researchers can obtain constructive input from reviewers to improve future research activities. In addition, this activity also serves as an indicator of the achievement of research output targets, whether in the form of publications, patents, or tangible contributions to society,” he said.
The monitoring and evaluation process was carried out by a team of internal reviewers who are competent in their respective fields. The researchers presented their research achievements, both in terms of activity implementation, budget utilization, and follow-up plans to achieve the predetermined outputs.
Several grant schemes that were monitored and evaluated in this activity included (PFR), (PDD), (PMDSU), (PTM), (PT-LM), (PT-LP). A total of 190 research titles participated in this year’s monitoring and evaluation.
This activity is also part of UNHAS’ commitment to supporting the Indonesia Emas 2045 vision through strengthening sustainable research and innovation. LPPM UNHAS continues to play an active role in nurturing and facilitating researchers to produce works that are excellent and
relevant to society.
